The assessment and improvement of the value chains and added value of agricultural commodities in the south of Libya

The Stabilization to Recovery Transition in Libya (START) project, funded by the Government of Japan, conducted an Agri-Food Value Chain Assessment in 12 municipalities in southern Libya together with FAO. The aim of the assessment was to identify potential value chains to develop and producer associations/cooperatives, particularly women’s associations, to improve access to markets.
